Friends of Midtown’s third annual Midtown May Market brings together a community yard sale and fundraiser waffle brunch on May 16 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The yard sale is a partnership with other community organizations–Midtown Square Action Council, Olde Uptown Neighborhood Association, Market Place Town Homes HOA, and New Fox Ridge HOA–and will be located at residents’ homes throughout the Midtown area:
The all-you-can-eat waffle brunch will be held at Second City Church from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Admission is only $5 per person, and one child under 10 eats free per accompanying adult.
All admission from the waffle brunch will benefit the Ecumenical Food Pantry–an organization that has served the City of Harrisburg for four decades from the nearby Messiah Lutheran Church. In the 2013 fiscal year, the Pantry served an average of 2735 per month.
Both events are rain or shine. Free parking is available at Second City Church or two-hour parking at the Broad Street Market.
