After holding an orientation with the Harrisburg Police, Friends of Midtown has begun running foot patrols. A community foot patrol is a group of volunteers organized to increase the safety and livability of their neighborhood. These volunteers take an active role in their community by walking their neighborhood streets for a few hours a month to deter crime and report incidents and problems.
We are looking for more volunteers to help with the patrols. Members are asked to volunteer 4 hours a month. If you are interested, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
