Tri-County OIC Summer Reading Club Kick-off Event

Friends of Midtown is supporting the Tri-County OIC summer reading program and their June 5th Kick-off Event.
We are collecting monetary donations and books, particularly children’s books and teen and pre-teen literature. Gift cards for purchasing supplies and prizes for the event are also welcome. Can you imagine a house with no books? Neither can we!

Spring Clean-up Results

Thanks to the 59 volunteers who came out on a sunny morning to participate in the first of three midtown community clean-ups this year. Planters

Tire planters are too shallow to sit on concrete; the plants will bake in the summer sun. Because of this, we decided against tire planters, at least for placement on paved surfaces. We [...]
